Police arrest man after he appears for court hearing

ST. CLOUD -- A 26-year-old St. Cloud man is jailed on drug charges after an unusual arrest today.

Stearns County authorities say Michael Buersken showed up at the county's courts facilities building for a hearing. While there, deputies arrested Buersken on an outstanding warrant, giving false information and driving after revocation.

Then, while booking him into the jail, officers say they found eight packages of LSD and more than 12-hundred dollars cash on Buersken.

He faces an additional charge of 5th degree drug possession.
