Cystal-Pierz Marine to close St. Cloud, Rogers, 4 other Minnesota stores

MINNEAPOLIS -- A Minneapolis-based boat retailer says it will close six of its 12 stores in Minnesota and Iowa and lay off 100 workers.
    
Crystal-Pierz Marine president Luke Kujawa says the current market "is serving us some of the toughest challenges ever" and is the worst for marine sales in 40 years.
    
The Minnesota stores slated to close are in Rogers, Forest Lake, St. Cloud, Duluth, and Onamia, as well as one in Clear Lake, Iowa.
    
The stores are scheduled to close in a few weeks after a liquidation sale.
