ST. CLOUD -- There could be some changes coming to St. Cloud's liquor laws.
City officials are meeting with license holders, Neighborhood University Committee and SCSU Student Senate to discuss issues.
Interim City Attorney Matt Staehling says two main concerns are underage drinking and over consumption. Staehling says 25% of their cases are alcohol related and he estimates 80% have alcohol as a factor.
Another item that will be talked about is the Social Host Ordinance where party hosts who knowingly allow underage drinking would be held responsible.
Staehling says provisional licenses and requiring license holders to promote responsible drinking are also on the table for discussion.
