ST. CLOUD -- John Deere retailer Midwest Machinery is expanding its St. Cloud business, and adding a new showroom.
This past week, crews have been battling rain and dismantling their main building; making room for a brand new 25,000 square foot showroom, parts, and office complex.
Part-Owner Andrew Swenson says it was their intention to upgrade when they bought the location in 2005.
The more than $3 million project is bringing excitement, but employees will be working in cramped locations for spring and summer.
"Everyone has been bumed about the tight locations, but when they think about what will be 6 months from now, they are excited." Swenson said.
Swenson says they also plan on adding up to three more technicians to their total crew of 15 employees.
The showroom will feature mainly lawn and garden equipment, which represents about 60 percent of their business.
The Highway 23 business hopes to have a September 1st grand re-opening.
