ST. PAUL -- Governor Pawlenty officially signed Justin's Bill into law today (Thursday). It tightens regulations on selling prescription drugs over the internet.
It was named after Justin Pearson, who died after buying painkillers online.
Justin's father, Dan Pearson was at the bill signing today (Thursday). He says it was bittersweet but says the legislation will save lives.
Pearson says a similar bill has passed the U-S Senate and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann says it should pass in the House this summer.
He also says they are planning to work with an awareness campaign called "AwareRx Minnesota."
