Updated:  Tasered St. Martin man found in Eden Valley
by Jim Maurice, WJON.com

UNDATED -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Department has found a St. Martin man who managed to get away, even after being tasered.

Twenty-four year old William Schwandt turned himself in to the Eden Valley Police Chief this (Thursday) morning just before 10:00.

The incident started just after 11:00 Tuesday night at the intersection of County Roads 10 and 12, when deputies noticed a vehicle go through the stop sign.

They followed the vehicle into St. Martin, where the driver got out of the vehicle and started to run. The deputy temporarily stunned Schwandt, when he tasered him, but he was able to remove the probes and got away. A blood hound was able to track his scent to a home in St. Martin, but he was not there by the time officers arrived.
