Bachmann defends her "no" vote on the Farm Bill

WASHINGTON , D.C. -- Sixth District Congresswoman Michele Bachmann says the Farm Bill is too expensive, and has too much pork barrel spending.
Bachmann was on WJON this (Thursday) morning defending her decision to vote against the $300 billion bill. She says most of it has nothing to do with farming. She says new subsidies have been created for the fruits and vegetable industry, and for the horse racing industry, even though they don't need it.
Bachmann and Jim Ramstad were the only two Minnesota House members to vote against the bill. Republican John Kline joined Democrats in voting in favor of it.
The U-S Senate has also overwhelmingly passed the bill.
The President has said that he will veto the bill.
