SAUK RAPIDS -- Students and staff at the Sauk Rapids-Rice school district are raising money to support cancer research.
Mississippi Heights Elementary science teacher Bill Magnuson says starting today (Monday), each classroom at the school will be collecting money for the American Cancer Society.
He also says they will hold a Walk for Life on Thursday May 22nd and Friday the 23rd. An outdoor track will be set up and each class of students will walk at different times throughout the two days.
The middle and high school are involved in similar activities throughout the next couple weeks.
If you would like to help, the Sauk Rapids-Rice school store has bracelets made by students available for 2-dollars.
