Update: Statewide tornado drill will go on as scheduled
by The Associated Press

UNDATED (AP) -- A statewide tornado drill set for Thursday is expected to go on as planned.

The National Weather Service had said they might postpone the drill if real severe weather moves into the state.

That could still happen, but for now safety officials say the sirens will go off at 1:45 p.m. and 6:55 p.m.

The tornado drill is a part of Severe Weather Awareness Week.
