Pederson to be honored today as Sauk Rapids 'Citizen of the Year'

SAUK RAPIDS -- A retired teacher is this year's Sauk Rapids Chamber of Commerce "Citizen of the Year".

Phil Pederson will be honored this (Thursday) afternoon.

He says he volunteers with church projects and holds hayrides for kids.

But, his favorite is helping out with the Benton County Fair.

The Chamber luncheon honoring Pederson will be held at noon tomorrow at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School.

If you would like to attend the cost is 12-dollars and you will need to register.
