Stearns History Museum narrows list of director candidates to four

ST. CLOUD -- A search committee has narrowed down the field of candidates to four finalists in its search for a new Stearns History Museum Director.

Search Committee spokesman Pete Alexander says they have come up with four finalists.

The candidates are current interim Stearns History Museum Director Ann Meline, Wayne Gannaway of Connecticut, Charlene Akers of Texas and Larry Sommer of Mendota Heights.

Alexander says they plan to make a recommendation to the museum board next week and hope to have someone hired to start January First.

Former Executive Director Dave Ebnet retired early this summer.
