Pantowners 34th Annual Car Show & Swap Meet

Pantowners 34^th Annual Car Show & Swap Meet is the largest one- day show and swap in Minnesota. The event is Sunday, August 16^th, at the Benton County Fair grounds from 7:00 am – 3 pm.  Rain or Shine.

The 32nd Annual Fiddler’s Fest

The 32^nd annual Fiddler’s Fest is Sunday August 23 from 11am-4pm at Minnesota’s Pioneer Park in Annandale.  There will be a clogging show at 12:30pm, At 2pm, Fiddler’s from across the Midwest will compete for cash and prizes.  Food and refreshments will be available.

The city of Pierz will celebrate Oktoberfest from Friday August 28 through Sunday August 30.  There will be a treasure hunt, Wacky Hacker Golf Tournament, picnic dinner, street dance, Pierz Lions Fun Run, Lions club Parade at 11am on Sunday August 30, exotic animals, petting zoo, and camel rides from 12:30-4:30pm on Sunday. German costumes are encouraged.

MOCA’s Silent No More Walk/Run Event

MOCA’s Silent No More Walk/Run Event is Saturday, September 12,  from7:30am -10:30amIt is 2K Walk/ 5K Run Event, benefiting the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance.  The event will be held at Roseland Park, 4300 West 66^th Street, Edina.  Money generated from the event will help MOCA to fund ovarian cancer research, raise awareness of the disease through medical education programs and awareness campaigns, and provide support to women with ovarian cancer and their families.  Cost: Adults: $20 before 8/31, $25 after 9/1.  Ages 12 and under: $10 before 8/31, $12 after 9/1.  For more information contact Constance White, CWhite@mnovarian.org

Kidney Benefit

Project ASTRIDE Needs Volunteers
