FOLEY -- A woman accused of murdering a St. Cloud market owner in 2015 has been extradited from Los Angeles County to the Benton County Jail.

Jail records show 24-year-old Cheryl Albert was booked into the jail at around 7:30 p.m. Thursday. She is being held on two charges of second degree murder and one count of 3rd degree murder in the killing of Keletigui Keita.

A Benton County court complaint alleges Albert was arrested in California last month after drugging, robbing and shooting Keita at his apartment in 2015. The investigation into Keita's murder lasted two years and culminated with Albert's arrest at the Los Angeles Airport.

Keita owned the Kilmandjaro Market in St. Cloud. Police found him dead of a gunshot wound to the abdomen on June 9th, 2015. His east St. Cloud apartment was missing several items including an iPhone, apple computer, watches and coins. Albert’s fingerprints were found on two glasses in the bedroom. At least one of the glasses contained the drug commonly known as Xanax.

Albert is being held on $2,000,000 bail without conditions or $1,000,000 with conditions set forth by the judge.
