LONG PRAIRIE - A Long Prairie teenager is dead and four other teenagers have been hurt,in a rear end collision in Todd County.

The State Patrol says the incident happened at about 6:30 p.m. last (Friday) night on Highway 27 at 281st Street. A Ford Taurus was stopped, waiting to make a left hand turn, when it was rear ended by a Chevy Silverado.

The driver of the car, 17-year-old Joel Shenenberger of Long Prairie, has non life-threatening injuries.

Also, two of his passengers, 16-year-old Johanne Wegner and 16-year-old Alexander Folkegard both of Long Prairie, have non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the pick-up, 16-year-old Parker Brezinka of Royalton, has non life-threatening injuries.

The name of Long Prairie teenager who died in the crash has not been released.
