State Patrol: Deadly Crash On Highway 169 In Mille Lacs County

MILLE LACS COUNTY - The Minnesota State Patrol has responded to a deadly crash in Mille Lacs county this (Thursday) morning.

The incident happened at about 7:15 a.m. on Highway 169 and 80th Street. An SUV was heading south when it was hit broadside by a car.

The driver of the car was killed in the crash. She's a 42-year-old woman from Pease. Her name has not been released.

A passenger in the car, 46-year-old Maria Puffer of Oak Park, suffered serious injuries.

The driver of the SUV, 49-year-old Nanette Minarich of Foreston, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
