The #9-ranked Minnesota Golden Gopher Men's basketball team was defeated 83-75 by the #5-ranked Michigan Wolverines at Williams Arena Thursday.

Tim Hardaway, Jr led the Wolverines (17-1, 4-1 Big Ten) with 21 points, and point guard Trey Burke added 18 points in the win.

The Gophers (15-3, 3-2 Big Ten) were led by guard Austin Hollins, who scored 21 points on 7-12 shooting.

The Gopher men's basketball team is back in action on Wednesday night at Northwestern. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 PM on 1390 The FAN.
