81-Year-Old Monticello Man Killed In Wright County Crash

MONTICELLO - A Monticello man was killed in a single vehicle crash in Wright County this (Tuesday) afternoon.

The Sheriff's Department says the incident happened just before 2:00 p.m. in Monticello Township.

The 81-year-old driver was heading south when his vehicle left the road, went into the ditch, and struck a tree.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man's name is expected to be released tomorrow (Wednesday).
