SAUK RAPIDS (AP) - A Minnesota woman wants an 8-foot-tall yellow ribbon back.

Janna Cannon of Sauk Rapids put the ribbon in her front yard to signify the return of her son from the war in Iraq. But she says someone stole it.

Cannon says she is unsure when the ribbon was taken. She put the ribbon out on Dec. 20, and it was there leaning against a birch tree when her son Ben returned for a break after nine months in Iraq.

The ribbon has been passed around to families who have children serving in the military. Cannon planned to have the ribbon until her son returned for good, then pass it along to another family with loved ones serving overseas.
