GARFIELD - An example of what can happen if you don't move over when you see flashing lights.  A semi hauling hydrochloric acid clipped a state DOT truck doing work on I-94 near the Garfield exit - west of Alexandria yesterday (Monday) afternoon.  The DOT truck was then pushed into another DOT truck and the semi entered the ditch and rolled.

No one was hurt, but the trucker from Illinois was cited.

State Patrol Sergeant Jesse Grabow says the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. yesterday and crews didn't clear the scene until 4:00 a.m. this (Tuesday) morning, as they worked to off-load the chemical and deal with the small amount that spilled.
