BRAINERD (AP) — A man accused of sexually abusing young boys over the past several decades has been sentenced in Crow Wing County to more than six years in prison.

Seventy-year-old Tom Erickson pleaded guilty to three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct in a plea agreement with prosecutors. Crow Wing County District Judge David Ten Eyck sentenced Erickson to 75 months in prison Monday.

Two of the three victims for which Erickson entered his pleas were in court Monday. Erickson declined when asked if he wanted to address his victims.

Sexual Assault Services executive director Rose Kramer told the judge that Erickson also assaulted other boys, but the men could not file a complaint because the statute of limitations has expired.
