ST. CLOUD - More retail spaces and apartments are planned for the final phase of the $100 million 5th Avenue Live Project.

Developer Brian Schoenborn says the building will be built on the block where the Methodist Church sits now.  It will be similar looking to the Coborn Plaza building.

The idea of 5th Avenue Live began back in early 2009.  Schoenborn says the slow economy has slowed their progress over the past couple of years, and it's taken them longer than anticipated to fill the retail spaces.  They've also been forced to redesign parts of their master plan.  However, Schoenborn says interest in the project has picked-up and he's hopeful several spots will be leased out by the end of this year.
