UPDATE: Suspect Arrested After Allegedly Beating 53-Year-Old During Robbery

ST. CLOUD — A 53-year-old St. Cloud man is recovery from his injuries that happened during a robbery.

St. Cloud police say the incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday on Rivercrest Drive.

The victim was beaten and had property taken from him.  He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital. The suspect, 24-year-old Micheal Williams was arrested and is facing charges of aggravated robbery and 1st degree assault. He is currently being held at the Stearns County Jail.

No weapons were used in the attack.

No other information is available at this time, but police say they’ll release more information later.
