5 Family Members Hospitalized After Meeker County Crash

LITCHFIELD - Five family members were taken to the hospital after they were involved in a head on crash. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just after 7:00 p.m. last (Monday) night on Highway 12 in Meeker County.

Thirty-nine-year-old Jerry Block of Cosmos was driving west when a car driven by 18-year-old Marilyn Cairl of Cosmos turned in front of him.

Block and all of his passengers 33-year-old Kelly Block, 9-year-old Evan Block, 7 year-old Nora Block, and 5-year-old Brenna Block were all taken to the Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield with non life-threatening injuries.

Cairl was not hurt.
