MOUNDSVIEW (AP) - Four Republicans with eyes on Minnesota governor's office are sharing a stage as they angle for the party's 2014 nomination.

A candidate forum billed as the first with all four announced candidates was scheduled for Thursday night in Moundsview.

Businessman Scott Honour, Hennepin County Commissioner Jeff Johnson, state Sen. Dave Thompson and state Rep. Kurt Zellers were expected at the event. Other Republicans are mulling campaigns, but haven't gotten into the race.

This time next year, Republicans will be choosing a nominee to take on Democratic Gov. Mark Dayton. He is seeking a second term.

The forum was being sponsored by four local GOP chapters and was to be moderated by Tea Party Patriots coordinator Walter Hudson.
