3rd Homicide In 5 Days In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minneapolis police say the victim and suspect in a fatal shooting on July 4th knew each other.

Authorities say a man was shot and critically wounded outside a house Monday afternoon. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he later died.

Police say a handgun was recovered at the scene and a suspect was taken in for questioning.

It was the third homicide in Minneapolis in five days.
