3 Hurt in Broadside Crash Near Paynesville

PAYNESVILLE -- Three people are hurt after a broadside crash in Stearns County last (Sunday) night.

The incident happened just after 6:00 p.m. on Highway 23 near Paynesville.

The state patrol says 23-year-old Amber Ruprecht, of St. Cloud, was heading east on Highway 23 when another vehicle heading west failed to yield while making a turn across the highway resulting in the crash.

Ruprecht suffered non life-threatening injuries in the crash.

The driver of the second vehicle, 69-year-old Marilyn Hilbert and her passenger 73-year-old Leroy Hilbert, both of Danube, suffered non life-threatening injuries.
