Authorities say 3 people died in a one-vehicle accident that left the car submerged on its top in the Sauk River early this morning.

Officers from the St. Cloud Police and Waite Park Police Departments, Stearns County Sheriff's office and the Highway Patrol responded to the scene underneath a bridge in the 7-thousand block of County Road 75 just after 2am. There were five victims in the vehicle. a 20-year old man from Saint Cloud was pronounced dead at the scene. A five- year old boy and 13-year old girl were taken to St. Cloud Hospital where they were pronounced dead.

A 33-year old Saint Cloud man suffered life threatening injuries and a 20-year old Moorhead man non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

Both are at St. Cloud hospital. The names of the victims have not been released pending notification of family. The Stearns County Sheriff's office and Saint Cloud Police Department are investigating.
