3 Arrested For Disorderly Conduct Downtown

A melee downtown early Sunday morning resulted in 3 arrests and a police officer hit in the face with a beer bottle. Police were escorting a disorderly man from a bar at 5th Avenue and Mall Germain when he began to resist officers and a short struggle ensued. During the incident, an unknown person threw a beer bottle striking an officer in the face. The officer was treated at Saint Cloud Hospital and released.
Three men in the crowd were arrested when they interfered with police trying to make the initial arrest.
Charged with obstructing the legal process and disorderly conduct was 39 year old Michael Johnson Junior of Saint Cloud. Charged with disorderly conduct, minor consumption and disorderly conduct was 18-year old Michael Johnson the Third of Saint Cloud. And 42-year old Kevin Scuefield of Saint Cloud arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process. All three suspects were taken to Stearns County Jail.
