ALBANY - The State Patrol arrested three people this (Wednesday) morning after a high speed chase on I-94 near Albany.

Sergeant Jesse Grabow says A trooper spotted a vehicle near Sauk Centre at about 8:45 a.m. suspected of being involved in an armed robbery a half hour earlier in Pope County.

Instead of stopping, the vehicle sped off heading east on I-94, reaching speeds up to 90 miles an hour.  Stop sticks were used to flatten their tires near Freeport.  However, the vehicle continued on until troopers ran it off the road near Albany.

The chase lasted about 15 minutes and went about 20 miles.

Two men and a woman were taken into custody.
