NEW HOPE (AP) - A second person has been charged in a fatal attack at a bar in New Hope.
Twenty-six-year-old Daniele Wright is charged with aiding and abetting unintentional second-degree murder in the death of John Hillstrom. The 36-year-old Crystal man died in hospice care in Cokato Nov. 30.
Hillstrom was celebrating a friend's birthday at Outtakes Bar and Grill last June. A bartender told police Hillstrom and his friends had been arguing with two men when one approached and punched him. A second man punched Hillstrom again when he tried to stand. The two men ran from the bar. Hillstrom was knocked unconscious.
