2018 Governors Fishing Opener Location Announced

ST. CLOUD - The 71st Governors Fishing Opener will be in the Willmar Lakes area next year,

The events will be held from May 10-13 on Green Lake in Spicer. This will be the second time the event has been in the Willmar Lakes area with the last time in 1996.

Explore Minnesota says the event will be a collaboration of communities in the area including Willmar, New London and Spicer.
