2014 Football Preview: Tech Tigers

Josh Akkerman

After a hot start to the 2013 season with four straight wins, the Tigers finished the year with a 5-4 record. Tech is looking to improve that mark in 2014 with many returning offensive starters, but also a new-look defense.

“We are rebuilding on the defensive side of the ball, Martig said. “I think at one time we had 11 seniors starting on defense.”

Martig says they are teaching the younger players about giving good effort and knowing their assignments on the field.

The Tigers open the 2014 season on August 29th at Sartell. The Tigers can be heard all season long on AM 1390 The Fan.
