MONTEVIDEO, Minn. (AP) - Two women in their 80s have died after their car collided with a recreational vehicle at a rural intersection in western Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened about 9:20 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Highways 40 and 29, about 25 miles west of Willmar.

Reports say the 87-year-old driver of the car, identified as Jeanette Saunders of Benson, and her 84-year-old passenger from Long Lake, Delores Olen, were both dead at the scene.

The patrol says all seven people in the RV were hurt. They were all taken to a hospital in Montevideo, but their injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening.
