2 Women Charged in Bleach Attack

AUSTIN (AP) - Authorities say two women are facing criminal charges in Mower County for attacking a woman and dumping bleach around a home in a fit of jealousy.

A criminal complaint says one of the accused women smashed a flat screen TV and a mirror at an Austin home. The woman who lived at the house told police Tempestt Haymore was jealous because her boyfriend was at the house.

The complaint says Haymore left and later returned with Shante Morgan, forced her way into the residence and dumped bleach on the walls, couch and clothing. Officials say Morgan punched a friend of the victim who tried to stop the women from entering the house.

Haymore also dumped anti-freeze inside the woman's car. Court records don't list defense attorneys for the accused.
