2 Teenage Boys Struck By Pick-up In Zimmerman

ZIMMERMAN – Two teenage boys were struck by a pick-up truck this (Tuesday) morning while walking along the road in Zimmerman.

The Sherburne County Sheriff says the incident happened just before 7:30 a.m. on 3rd Avenue South.

The truck was driven by 88-year-old Barney Horvath of Elk River.

The boys are 14 and 15 years old.  One was flown by helicopter to North Memorial Hospital, the other was taken by his parents to North Memorial.
