STAPLES, Minn. (AP) - Two students were slightly hurt when a school bus skidded through an intersection and collided with a passing car in central Minnesota.

Todd County sheriff's authorities say the Staples-Motley school bus slid through the intersection just after 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The bus turned in front of a car that slammed into the bus near the rear axle.

Two students on the bus and the driver of the car were treated and released from a Staples hospital.

It's been reported that the bus driver and a faculty member on the bus were not hurt.

The accident is under investigation.
