MONTICELLO - Two people were hurt in a crash on Interstate 94. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just before 9:30 a.m. this (Wednesday) morning in Wright County.

A vehicle driven by 43-year-old Troy VanHorsen of Big Lake was going east, when he moved from the left lane to the right lane. Meanwhile, a vehicle driven by 46-year-old Salah Jama of St. Cloud was also going east in the right lane. The two vehicles collided and Jama's vehicle hit the median cable barrier.

VanHorsen was taken to CentraCare Hospital in Monticello with non life-threatening injuries.

A passenger in Jama's vehicle, 76-year-old Khadija Ibrahim, also suffered non life-threatening injuries.
