ELK RIVER - Two people were hurt in a three vehicle crash. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened just before 5:00 p.m. Thursday on Highway 169 in Sherburne County.

Forty-three-year-old Teresa Riebel of Big Lake stopped at a stop sign, then attempted to cross the highway and was struck by a vehicle driven by 49-year-old Jerry James of Blaine. James' vehicle then struck a semi.

Riebel and James were both taken to Princeton Hospital with non life threatening injuries. The semi driver was not hurt.
