2 People Found Dead Inside A Rural Eden Valley Home

EDEN VALLEY - Authorities are investigating the deaths of two people in rural Eden Valley.

The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says they received a call about two people who were  possibly dead in a home in the 56900 block of 340th Street in Harvey Township at about 2:30 p.m. this (Monday) afternoon.  Deputies, Gold Cross Ambulance, and the Eden Valley Rescue responded and found the two bodies in the home.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension was called in to assist.  The Midwest Medical Examiner's Office was also notified and responded.

The sheriff's office says there's no known threat to the public.

More information is expected to be released later, once the two victims are identified and the families are notified.
