BURNSVILLE (AP) — The two con artists who fled a minimum-security prison camp in Duluth last week drew little attention in Burnsville, where they tried to remain inconspicuous until a tip led investigators to the hotel where they were hiding out.

Sixty-four-year-old Michael Krzyzaniak and 67-year-old Gerald Greenfield were arrested early Friday morning at a Hampton Inn.

The hotel is owned by TMI Hospitality. Spokeswoman Laura Bourdon says the fugitives paid for their single room with cash. She says they'd been staying at the hotel since Sunday and registered under aliases.

After the pair were arrested proprietors of nearby stores and restaurants said they didn't recall seeing either man all week.
