ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) - Two former high school girls' basketball coaches in northwestern Minnesota have pleaded not guilty to charges they fondled two players and offered them alcohol.

Thirty-three-year-old Andrew Schwan of Detroit Lakes and 29-year-old Darrin Myhre of Minot, N.D., entered their pleas Friday in Stearns County.

Both men are charged with felony fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct as well as misdemeanor charges.

Jury trials are scheduled Aug. 15 for Schwan and Sept. 19 for Myhre.

Schwan and Myhre were coaches at Lake Park Audubon High School in Lake Park. The Forum reports both men have resigned from their teaching and coaching positions.

Prosecutors say the men each fondled the girls in a hotel room in December 2009 while the team was in Upsala for a tournament.

Both girls were 17 at the time.
