MELROSE - Two men were taken to the hospital after the ATVs they were riding collided head on.  The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened just before 12:30 p.m. Saturday on County Road 12 in Spring Hill Township.

Twenty-two-year-old Tyler Revermann and 19-year-old Anthony Revermann of Melrose were driving the ATVs on private property across the road from their home.  They were driving on the same trail toward each other, as they came to a partially blind curve on the trail the ATVs struck head-on.  They were both thrown from their vehicles.

Tyler Revermann was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital and is listed in critical condition.

Anthony Revermann was taken to Melrose Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Neither man was wearing a helmet.
