2 Melrose Women Hurt In Rollover in Avon Township

AVON TOWNSHIP - Two Melrose women suffered minor injuries in a rollover.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened at about 10:15 p.m. on Saturday on County Road 54 in Avon Township.

Twenty-one-year-old Kathryn Lemke was driving the car when it left the road and hit a field approach and rolled.

Twenty-two-year-old Niki Tickerhof was a passenger.

Both were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with minor injuries. Both were wearing their seatbelts. Inattentive driving is being blamed.
