BRAHAM (AP) — Two people are dead after their car collided with a dump truck in northern Minnesota.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened just after noon Monday at the intersection of state Highways 65 and 107 in Isanti County.

According to the patrol, a Ford Fusion traveling west on Highway 107 had stopped at the stop sign and was trying to cross Highway 65 when it collided with a northbound dump truck.

A patrol spokeswoman say the woman driving the car and her male passenger were both dead at the scene. The man driving the dump truck was not hurt.

Names of the victims were not immediately released. The patrol says roads were dry at the time.
