MAPLEWOOD (AP) - Police say two people found dead at a motel in a Twin Cities suburb have been identified.

According to Maplewood Police Chief Paul Schnell, the two have been identified as 24-year-old Tou Chang Xiong of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and 27-year-old Zoua Vang of Osseo, Wisconsin.

Schnell says police got a welfare check call Wednesday afternoon after someone looked in a Northernaire Motel room and saw two people "appear to be unresponsive."

Schnell says that no immediate sign of trauma to either of the two was found by investigators. Autopsies were done by the Ramsey County medical examiner's office, and determination of causes and manners of death is pending finishing of toxicology testing.
