MINNETONKA (AP) — Minnetonka fire officials who put out a late-night house fire say two people were found dead inside.

Assistant fire Chief Jim Flanders says a passer-by reported the blaze Friday about 10:30 p.m. after seeing flames at the home.

Flanders says six fire departments responded and were able to extinguish the fire fairly quickly.

The identities of the victims have not been released.

Officials are investigating what caused the fire and how the victims died.
