MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Two more flu deaths have been reported in Minnesota this season.

The Minnesota Department of Health reports one person died in the last week of December and another in the second week of January. Their names were not released.

There also has been a small uptick in flu outbreaks at Minnesota schools.

According to the Health Department's weekly report, 19 people were hospitalized with flu-related illness in the week ending Jan. 22. The department also tracked four school outbreaks that week and one outbreak in a Minnesota nursing home.

Health officials continue to encourage Minnesotans to get their flu shots. Flu season typically peaks in January or February.
