BUFFALO (AP) — Prosecutors have charged two teenagers with murder in the dragging death of an 18-year-old Montrose man over the weekend.

Noelle Ziegelmann of St. Michael and James Striebel of Howard Lake, both 18 years old, appeared in Wright County court Tuesday on felony charges of second-degree murder and robbery. Both requested public defenders.

Ziegelmann and Striebel were arrested Sunday in the death of Justin Harvey. According to the complaint, Harvey had arranged a roadside meeting outside his house to sell marijuana to Striebel. The complaint says Striebel, who was in the passenger seat of the pickup, grabbed the bags of marijuana and Ziegelmann floored the accelerator.

Harvey hung on to the pickup and was dragged. He died at Hennepin County Medical Center.
