ST. CLOUD - A 32-year-old St. Cloud man has been arrested for allegedly selling marijuana.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force wrapped-up an eight month investigation yesterday (Wednesday) with the arrest of Samlith Khongloth at 2904 15th Street North in St. Cloud.

During the arrest Khlongloth was allegedly in possession of one pound of marijuana and about $6000 in cash.  The address is his parents house, which officers say contained 44 pounds of marijuana, as well as a handgun.

Officers also search Khongloth's home at 1944 Knollwood Circle in St. Cloud.  More marijuana and over $52,000 in cash were found there.

He is expected to be charged with 2nd Degree Sales of Controlled Substances within a school zone, due to high sales occuring in proximity to North Junior High.
