COLLEGEVILLE - Tensions between the United States and North Korea are a concern for many here in Minnesota.

Richard Bohr is the Director of the Asian Studies Program at the College of St. Benedict and St. John's University.  He says, after the Korean war ended in 1953, Minnesota colleges and universities sent a lot of people to the region to help rebuild the country.

He says South Korea is one of Minnesota's biggest trading partners.

Bohr says they've also been talking a lot about the developing events in his classroom, out of concern among his Korean students.
